About the role
Join a traveling Physical Therapist team in West Orange, NJ working in home health. You will evaluate and treat patients to support recovery from injury and management of chronic conditions while providing care across Morris and Essex counties.
Responsibilities
- Comprehensive evaluations
- Treatment planning
- Documentation of patient progress
- Care coordination with interdisciplinary teams
- Safe discharge planning
Requirements
- Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by APTA
- Active NJ Physical Therapist license required to start the assignment
- Minimum 2–3 years of experience in home health, acute, or subacute settings (required)
- BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required
- Minimum education requirement: Bachelor's degree
- Experience in homecare visits across multiple counties preferred
- Strong accountability, patience, and communication skills preferred

Schedule
Shift hours: 08:00–16:00
Scheduled days: Monday through Friday, 08:00–16:30 (noted in order details; confirm exact daily hours with recruiter)
Weekly hour expectation: 40 hours guaranteed
On-call/weekend requirement: one weekend a month if possible
