Physical Therapist - Travel Contract

About the role

Join our team as a traveling Physical Therapist where you will help patients recover from injuries and manage chronic conditions while experiencing life in a new location.

Responsibilities

• Help patients recover from injuries and manage chronic conditions
• Experience working in skilled nursing facility settings is required
• Demonstrated competency with documentation systems used in SNF care, including skilled therapy documentation and restorative program development
• Experience with restorative nursing programs, fall risk assessment, and use of common adaptive equipment is preferred

Requirements

• Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by the APTA
• Active state Physical Therapist license for Alabama is required to start the assignment
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross may be required
• Minimum of 1 year of clinical experience in inpatient, long-term care, or skilled nursing environments is preferred

Qualifications

• Client requires clinicians to have experience with geriatric populations and post-acute rehabilitation
• Floating: Candidate may be required to float to other facilities as needed
