Physical Therapist - Travel Contract

About the role

Join Jackson Therapy Partners as a traveling Physical Therapist where you’ll help patients recover from injuries and manage chronic conditions while experiencing life in a new location.

Responsibilities

• Help patients recover from injuries and manage chronic conditions
• Treat musculoskeletal injuries in an outpatient orthopedic setting
• Work in conjunction with a team of therapists

Requirements

• Bachelor's, Master's or Doctoral Degree in Physical Therapy from accredited schools approved by the APTA
• Active State License is Required to Start the Assignment
• BLS Certification May Be Required from AHA or ARCC
• Certified Physical Therapist (PT) license for the state where practicing
• Current license for state where practicing

Qualifications

• BS or Master's Degree in Physical Therapy
• Outpatient orthopedic experience treating musculoskeletal injuries

Skills

• Effective communication skills
• Strong clinical judgment and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Carson City offers access to both outdoor recreation and regional travel in western Nevada.
• Lake Tahoe is about 30 miles west, and Washoe Lake State Park is about 15 miles north, giving travelers convenient options for hiking, kayaking, and scenic drives.
• The Nevada State Museum and the Kit Carson Trail are located in Carson City, and the city sits along the US-395 corridor for direct travel toward Reno, about 30 miles north.
• For day trips, Genoa is about 15 miles south with historic district attractions, and Heavenly Mountain Resort is within about 35 miles for skiing and mountain activities.
