Physical Therapist - Travel Contract

About the role

Join a traveling Physical Therapist team in Summersville, WV, where you will help patients recover from injuries and manage chronic conditions while experiencing life in a new location.

Responsibilities

• Provide physical therapy services to patients in their homes.
• Assess patient needs and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Document progress and communicate with referring physicians and other healthcare providers.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations.

Requirements

• Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by the APTA.
• Active West Virginia Physical Therapist license is required to start the assignment.
• BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required.
• Candidate must agree to a 26-week contract.
• Completion of a Home Health-specific course (COS-C exam preparation or equivalent) prior to starting is required for candidates without prior home health experience.
• This is acceptable to the client in lieu of prior HH experience.

Qualifications

• Minimum Requirements: Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by the APTA.
