Physical Therapist - Travel Contract

About the role

Join a traveling Physical Therapist role in East Hartford, CT at an outpatient clinic where you will help patients recover from injuries and manage chronic conditions while experiencing life in a new location.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat orthopedic and musculoskeletal diagnoses
• Write functional goals and document in compliance with regulatory and payer guidelines
• Complete comprehensive evaluations
• Document in compliance with regulatory and payer guidelines
• Provide patient education and discharge planning
• Supervise or delegate therapy assistants or support staff

Requirements

• Bachelor's, Master's or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by the APTA
• Active Connecticut state license in Physical Therapy is required to start the assignment
• BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required
• Outpatient clinic experience required

• Experience completing comprehensive evaluations

• Demonstrated ability to supervise or delegate therapy assistants or support staff
