About the role
Join a traveling Physical Therapist team in Winchester, MA at a skilled nursing facility where you will help patients recover from injuries and manage chronic conditions while experiencing life in a new location.
Responsibilities
- Assist patients in regaining mobility and managing pain.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including nurses, physicians, and social workers.
- Provide education to patients and families on self-management techniques.
Requirements
- Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by the APTA.
- Active Massachusetts Physical Therapy license required to start the assignment.
- BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required.
- Experience in skilled nursing facility (SNF) settings preferred.
- High-skilled SNF experience is preferred.
- Comfort working collaboratively; facility currently staffs 2–3 other PTs.
- New graduates are welcome to apply; mentorship and team support available.
Qualifications
