About the role
Join a traveling Physical Therapist role in Chelmsford, MA at an outpatient clinic where you will help patients recover from injuries and manage chronic conditions while experiencing a new community.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate patients
- Develop and implement treatment plans
- Document in compliance with state and federal guidelines
- Use functional outcome measures
- Write letters of medical necessity
- Enter charges
- Supervise and provide direction for therapy services
- Precept students
Requirements
- Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by the APTA
- Active Massachusetts Physical Therapy license required to start the assignment
- BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required
- Outpatient physical therapy experience preferred
- Experience evaluating patients, developing and implementing treatment plans, and documenting in compliance with state and federal guidelines is preferred
- Experience with functional outcome measures, letters of medical necessity, and charge entry preferred
- Ability to supervise and provide direction for discipline-specific therapy services preferred, including experience precepting students
