About the role
Join a skilled nursing facility in Orangeburg, SC as a traveling Physical Therapist.
Responsibilities
- Help patients recover from injuries and manage chronic conditions.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement treatment plans.
- Document progress and educate patients and caregivers.
- Float to other nearby facilities as needed, including Calhoun Convalescent Center.
Requirements
- Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by the APTA.
- Active South Carolina physical therapy license required to start the assignment.
- BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required.
- Experience working in skilled nursing or long-term care settings preferred.
- Willingness to float to other nearby facilities as needed.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous travel therapy experience preferred.
- Experience with restorative nursing programs and documentation systems preferred.
