Physical Therapist - Travel Contract

About the role

Join our traveling Physical Therapist team where you will help patients recover from injuries and manage chronic conditions while experiencing life in a new location.

Responsibilities

• Help patients recover from injuries and manage chronic conditions
• Experience life in a new location
• Outpatient orthopedic experience preferred
• Experience managing productivity targets and high patient volume preferred
• Must not be a PTA; position requires a licensed Physical Therapist

Requirements

• Doctoral, Master’s, or Bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy from an ACOTE- or CAPTE-accredited program as applicable to the role
• Active Alabama Physical Therapy license required to start the assignment
• BLS certification from American Heart Association or American Red Cross may be required prior to start
• New graduates and first-time travelers will be considered

Qualifications

• Outpatient orthopedic experience preferred
• Experience managing productivity targets and high patient volume preferred; clinic expects approximately 60 visits per week and 12–14 patients per day
• Must not be a PTA; position requires a licensed Physical Therapist

Pay

• Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours guaranteed with the expectation of working up to 40 hours; any overtime must be approved by the director
