About the role
Join as a traveling Physical Therapist in Effort, PA, at a skilled nursing facility where you will help patients recover from injuries and manage chronic conditions while experiencing life in a new location.
Responsibilities
- Assist patients in regaining mobility and independence.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including nurses, physicians, and social workers.
- Document patient progress and outcomes accurately using established documentation systems.
Requirements
- Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by the APTA.
- Active Pennsylvania Physical Therapy license required to start the assignment.
- BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required.
- Experience in skilled nursing facility (SNF) settings required.
Qualifications
- Current resume required for consideration.
- Prior travel therapy experience and familiarity with documentation systems used in long-term care (preferred).
Skills
- Strong clinical skills and knowledge of physical therapy techniques.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
