Physical Therapist - Travel Contract

About the role

Join as a traveling Physical Therapist in Effort, PA, at a skilled nursing facility where you will help patients recover from injuries and manage chronic conditions while experiencing life in a new location.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients in regaining mobility and independence.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including nurses, physicians, and social workers.
• Document patient progress and outcomes accurately using established documentation systems.

Requirements

• Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by the APTA.
• Active Pennsylvania Physical Therapy license required to start the assignment.
• BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required.
• Experience in skilled nursing facility (SNF) settings required.

Qualifications

• Current resume required for consideration.
• Prior travel therapy experience and familiarity with documentation systems used in long-term care (preferred).

• Strong clinical skills and knowledge of physical therapy techniques.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
