Physical Therapist - Travel Contract

About the role

Join as a traveling Physical Therapist where you’ll help patients recover from injuries and manage chronic conditions while experiencing life in a new location.

Responsibilities

  • Evaluation and development of treatment plans
  • Documentation in accordance with payer and clinic policies
  • Supervision of therapy assistants and students

Requirements

  • Bachelor's, Master's or Doctoral Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by the APTA
  • Active Indiana Physical Therapy license required prior to start of assignment
  • BLS certification from AHA or American Red Cross may be required
  • Outpatient clinic experience preferred, including evaluation and plan of care development for musculoskeletal and post-operative patients
  • Experience with documentation, goal writing, letters of medical necessity, and charge entry in outpatient EMR systems preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to supervise and delegate to therapy assistants and students preferred
  • Maintain professional licensure and complete state-mandated continuing education as required by Indiana Practice Act

Qualifications

  • Minimum Requirements: Bachelor's, Master's or Doctoral Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by the APTA.
