Physical Therapist - Travel Contract
About the role
Join a skilled nursing facility in Northampton, MA as a traveling Physical Therapist where you will help patients recover from injuries and manage chronic conditions while experiencing life in a new location.
Responsibilities
- Assess patient needs and develop treatment plans.
- Provide hands-on physical therapy to help patients regain strength and mobility.
- Collaborate with other healthcare providers to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Document progress and communicate with patients, families, and other healthcare team members.
Requirements
- Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by the APTA.
- Active Massachusetts Physical Therapy license required to start the assignment.
- BLS certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross may be required.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year of clinical experience preferred.
- Experience working with patients in a skilled nursing facility setting is beneficial.
