Physical Therapist - Travel Contract

About the role

Join Jackson Therapy Partners as a traveling Physical Therapist where you’ll help patients recover from injuries and manage chronic conditions while experiencing life in a new location.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat orthopedic and outpatient populations
• Develop individualized treatment plans and goal-directed care
• Document treatment plans and progress in accordance with functional quality indicators, letters of medical necessity, and timely charge entry
• Supervise and delegate to therapy assistants and provide appropriate student supervision when assigned

Requirements

• Bachelor's, Master's or Doctoral Degree in Physical Therapy from accredited schools approved by the APTA
• Active State License is Required to Start the Assignment
• BLS Certification May Be Required from AHA or ARC
• Minimum 1 year of outpatient physical therapy experience preferred; no new graduates accepted
• Maintain professional licensure in good standing and meet state-mandated continuing education requirements

• Competence in outpatient documentation
• Ability to supervise and delegate to therapy assistants
