Job Summary

Join a traveling Physical Therapist opportunity in Slaughter, LA, at a skilled nursing facility where you will help patients recover from injuries and manage chronic conditions while experiencing life in a new location.

About the Role

Applicants must be able to practice within scope of licensure and facility staffing model. The position involves helping patients in a skilled nursing facility setting, including geriatric populations and common SNF diagnoses such as post-operative care, stroke, and chronic disease management.

Responsibilities

  • Work in a skilled nursing facility setting.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by the APTA.
  • Active Louisiana Physical Therapy license required to start the assignment.
  • BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required.
  • Experience working in skilled nursing, long-term care, or post-acute settings preferred.
  • Experience treating geriatric populations and common SNF diagnoses such as post-operative care, stroke, and chronic disease management preferred.

Qualifications

  • Minimum requirements include a Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by the APTA.
  • An active Louisiana Physical Therapy license is required to start the assignment.
