Physical Therapist - Sports

About the role

We are seeking a full-time physical therapist with experience treating athletes or a strong desire to work with an athletic patient population. Candidates with a special interest in treating shoulders, upper extremities, and overhead athletes are ideal. New graduates are welcome.

Responsibilities

• Evaluates all assigned patients and develops, implements, and modifies treatment plans in accordance with patient needs and physician direction.
• Responsible for delegation and direction of all discipline-specific therapy services for assigned patients.
• Ensures the design of functional treatment programs allowing for an effective return to community activities.
• Serves as an educator for patients, families, students, coworkers, and self.
• Performs other professional duties associated with patient care, development of discipline-specific therapy services, and design of program delivery.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Therapy required.
• Current and valid state licensure or eligibility for state licensure as a Therapist required.
• Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification.
