Day shift, full-time Wound Care/Mobility Physical Therapist (PT) position at BSA Hospital in Amarillo, TX. BSA Hospital is a 445-bed hospital serving the Amarillo area for over 120 years, known for providing quality healthcare in Christian love, service, and dignity.

Responsibilities

• Provide and document examinations and evaluations
• Establish functional PT diagnosis, prognoses and plans of care
• Formulate treatment goals
• Provide physical therapy intervention to patients
• Measure and report outcomes
• Formulate and carry out discharge plans
• Supervise licensed and non-licensed assigned staff or students
• Interact and practice in collaboration with other professionals
• Individuals must comply with the Texas Physical Therapy Practice Acts and Rules

Requirements

• Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Doctorate in Physical Therapy from an accredited program
• Current Texas state licensure as a Physical Therapist
• BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care

Qualifications

• Previous acute care or clinic experience
• Prior wound care and mobility assessment experience
