Physical Therapist (PT) - Per Diem

About the role

Select Specialty Hospital is a critical illness recovery hospital dedicated to providing world-class inpatient post-ICU services to chronically ill patients. Physical Therapists (PT) are integral in offering compassionate, high-quality care throughout the recovery process.

Responsibilities

• Perform initial and ongoing systematic patient assessments.
• Promote continuous quality improvement.
• Teach and counsel patients and families.
• Set goals and develop treatment plans.
• Identify and solve patient-specific and facility-wide needs.
• Conduct individual patient therapy regimens.
• Monitor patient responses to treatment and modify treatment plans as needed.
• Complete appropriate documentation according to department policies and procedures.
• Participate in departmental, hospital, and community continuing education seminars and in-services.

Requirements

• Current state licensure as a Physical Therapist.
• Certified BLS or completion within the first 90 days of employment.

Benefits

• Sign-on bonus of $2,500.
• Per diem/PRN schedule with no weekend or holiday requirements.
• Competitive pay rate of $50.00 per hour.
