Physical Therapist / PT - Part Time

About the role

Aegis Therapies is hiring a Physical Therapist to join their supportive team at Fieldstone of DeWitt, a senior living community in DeWitt, Iowa. The position offers flexible scheduling up to 40 hours per week.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients in a variety of settings including assisted living, short-term rehabilitation, memory support, and long-term care.
• Evaluate patient conditions and progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Provide education and training to patients and families on managing their health conditions.
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient care and treatment outcomes.

Requirements

• Current license as a Physical Therapist or ability to obtain in the state of practice.
• Experience in geriatric care is preferred but not required.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• Passing score on the National Physical Therapy Examination (NPTE).

Skills

• Excellent clinical judgment and problem-solving skills.

• Proficiency in using medical software and equipment.
