About the role
A Full Time split Physical Therapist (PT/RPT) position is now available in our sub-acute/skilled nursing rehab departments located on the Cape in Buzzards Bay - North Fallmouth, MA and Megansett, MA.
- Drive time between buildings is paid at an hourly rate and mileage reimbursed.
- Seasoned, knowledgeable and respected facility leaders resulting in a close working relationship between tenured nursing and rehabilitation staff.
- Provides lunch every Wednesday.
Requirements
- Provide comprehensive and compassionate therapy services in a sub-acute/skilled nursing facility setting.
- Work collaboratively with other rehab therapists and nursing staff in a supportive team-working environment.
- Possess a current Physical Therapist (PT / RPT), license or be license eligible to practice in the state employed.
- Demonstrate strong computer skills with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and have experience with electronic documentation.
- Demonstrate good attention to detail and timeliness with documentation.
- Work well with others in a team setting.
Qualifications
- Under the direction of a Rehab Director, a successful Rehab Team Leader will:
- Provide daily oversight of rehabilitation services.
- Ensure efficient and effective operations of the facility's rehabilitation department.
- Provide therapy services to patients.
- Provide clinical support, training and oversight of specialty programs within his/her specific discipline.
- Plan and coordinate with other facility therapists in the implementation of programs and procedures to optimize patient outcomes.
- Monitor patient admissions, schedules, MDS assessment periods and data.
- Provide administrative supervision of therapists in the rehabilitation department.
- Be a licensed Occupational Therapist or license eligible in the state where employed.
- Have experience as a treating therapist in the Skilled Nursing Facility setting.
