About the role

A Full Time split Physical Therapist (PT/RPT) position is now available in our sub-acute/skilled nursing rehab departments located on the Cape in Buzzards Bay - North Fallmouth, MA and Megansett, MA.

  • Drive time between buildings is paid at an hourly rate and mileage reimbursed.
  • Seasoned, knowledgeable and respected facility leaders resulting in a close working relationship between tenured nursing and rehabilitation staff.
  • Provides lunch every Wednesday.

Requirements

  • Provide comprehensive and compassionate therapy services in a sub-acute/skilled nursing facility setting.
  • Work collaboratively with other rehab therapists and nursing staff in a supportive team-working environment.
  • Possess a current Physical Therapist (PT / RPT), license or be license eligible to practice in the state employed.
  • Demonstrate strong computer skills with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and have experience with electronic documentation.
  • Demonstrate good attention to detail and timeliness with documentation.
  • Work well with others in a team setting.

Qualifications

  • Under the direction of a Rehab Director, a successful Rehab Team Leader will:
  • Provide daily oversight of rehabilitation services.
  • Ensure efficient and effective operations of the facility's rehabilitation department.
  • Provide therapy services to patients.
  • Provide clinical support, training and oversight of specialty programs within his/her specific discipline.
  • Plan and coordinate with other facility therapists in the implementation of programs and procedures to optimize patient outcomes.
  • Monitor patient admissions, schedules, MDS assessment periods and data.
  • Provide administrative supervision of therapists in the rehabilitation department.
  • Be a licensed Occupational Therapist or license eligible in the state where employed.
  • Have experience as a treating therapist in the Skilled Nursing Facility setting.
