A Full Time Physical Therapist (PT/RPT) position is now available in our sub-acute/skilled nursing rehab department located in Rutland, VT. 10k sign-on paid out quarterly over two years. The Pines at Rutland is a beautiful facility with an excellent rehab team. Facility and Director of Rehab have received awards from the State of Vermont! Requirements
Provide comprehensive and compassionate therapy services in a sub-acute/skilled nursing facility setting
Work collaboratively with other rehab therapists and nursing staff in a supportive team-working environment
Possess a current Physical Therapist (PT / RPT), license or be license eligible to practice in the state employed
Demonstrate strong computer skills with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and have experience with electronic documentation
Demonstrate good attention to detail and timeliness with documentation
Work well with others in a team setting
Qualifications
A successful Rehab Director will:
- Ensure efficient and effective operations
- Plan and implement rehabilitation programs and procedures to optimize patient outcomes
- Monitor patient admissions, schedules, MDS assessment periods and data
- Provide administrative rehabilitation supervision
- Serve as a rehabilitation staff mentor
- Provide speech therapy services as needed
- Be a licensed speech therapist or license eligible in the state where employed
- Have experience as a treating therapist in the Skilled Nursing Facility setting
- The ideal candidate will have experience managing a SNF rehabilitation department
