About the role

The Pines at Rutland is seeking a Full-Time Physical Therapist (PT/RPT) to provide comprehensive and compassionate therapy services in a sub-acute/skilled nursing facility setting. This position offers competitive rates and benefits, including up to 5 weeks of paid time off to start and up to 6 weeks after 5 years of employment.

Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive and compassionate therapy services in a sub-acute/skilled nursing facility setting
  • Work collaboratively with other rehab therapists and nursing staff in a supportive team-working environment
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement treatment plans
  • Document patient progress and outcomes using electronic medical records
  • Adapt treatment plans based on patient progress and feedback
  • Participate in regular team meetings and case conferences

Requirements

  • Possess a current Physical Therapist (PT / RPT) license or be license eligible to practice in the state of Vermont
  • Be licensed to practice in the state of Vermont
  • Have strong computer skills with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and experience with electronic documentation
  • Show good attention to detail and timeliness with documentation
  • Work well with others in a team setting
  • Have a good understanding of patient care protocols and safety measures

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program
  • Current Physical Therapist (PT / RPT) license or license eligibility
  • At least one year of relevant clinical experience in a skilled nursing facility or sub-acute setting
  • Experience working in a collaborative team environment

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

  • Proficiency with electronic medical record systems
