About the role
Powerback Rehabilitation is seeking a Physical Therapist to deliver recovery, rehabilitation, respiratory, and wellness services to patients across the nation. This is an in-facility position reporting to the Director of Rehab. As a Physical Therapist, you will assess patient needs, develop recovery plans, and deliver physical therapy. You will address the whole patient, design programs that restore, reinforce, and enhance physical abilities, and train patients and caregivers on skills that promote independence and productivity.
Responsibilities
- Assess patient needs and develop recovery plans
- Deliver physical therapy to help patients regain function and independence
- Design programs that restore, reinforce, and enhance physical abilities
- Adapt treatment approaches to individual patient needs
- Collaborate with peers and make referrals as needed to support patient care
- Train patients and caregivers on skills for independence and productivity
Qualifications
- Valid Physical Therapy license in the state(s) of practice, or proof of license and eligibility
- Master's degree in Physical Therapy; or
- Master's degree in a Physical Therapy related field plus a Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy; or
- Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy plus 5 years of progressively responsible PT experience
- Physical Therapy degree earned outside the U.S. must be evaluated as equivalent to a U.S. degree in Physical Therapy
