About the role

As a Physical Therapist at Powerback, you help patients restore, reinforce, and enhance their physical abilities. You will assess patient needs, develop individualized recovery plans, and deliver physical therapy in skilled nursing centers, assisted and independent living facilities, outpatient clinics, or home-based care settings. You’ll collaborate with peers, make referrals as needed, and train patients and caregivers to promote independence and productivity.

Responsibilities

  • Assess patient needs and develop personalized recovery plans.
  • Deliver physical therapy in various settings, including skilled nursing centers, assisted/independent living facilities, outpatient clinics, and home-based care.
  • Address the whole patient, tailoring programs to restore, reinforce, and enhance physical abilities.
  • Collaborate with peers and make referrals to ensure patients receive comprehensive care.
  • Train patients and caregivers on skills to promote independence and productivity.

Qualifications

  • Valid Physical Therapy license in the state(s) of practice, or proof of license eligibility.
  • One of the following educational requirements:
    • Master’s degree in Physical Therapy; or
    • Master’s degree in a Physical Therapy-related field plus a Bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy; or
    • Bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy plus 5 years of progressively responsible PT experience.
  • For degrees earned outside the U.S., evaluation to confirm U.S. equivalence to a Physical Therapy degree.

Pay

Posted Salary Range: USD $42.00 - USD $47.00 per hour.
