Physical Therapist (PT)

About the role

Powerback Rehabilitation is seeking a Physical Therapist to provide patient-centered care in an in-facility setting. As a Physical Therapist, you will assess patient needs, develop recovery plans, and deliver physical therapy to help patients restore, reinforce, and enhance their physical abilities. You will train patients and caregivers on skills to promote independence and productivity, working collaboratively with peers while also making referrals as needed to ensure patients receive comprehensive care.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient needs and develop individualized recovery plans
• Deliver physical therapy to restore, reinforce, and enhance patients' physical abilities
• Address the whole patient and see them as an individual
• Train patients and caregivers on skills to promote independence and productivity
• Collaborate with peers and make referrals to help patients get the care they need
• Adapt to the needs of each patient and find joy in the variety of work and settings

Qualifications

• Valid Physical Therapy license in the state(s) of practice, or proof of license and eligibility
• Master's degree in Physical Therapy OR
• Master's degree in a Physical Therapy related field in addition to a Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy OR
• Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy plus 5 years of progressively responsible PT experience
• Physical Therapy degree earned outside the U.S. must be evaluated to be the U.S. equivalent to a degree in Physical Therapy
