Physical Therapist (PT)

The Physical Therapist provides direct rehabilitation care to patients based on physician referrals, ensuring compliance with all laws, regulations, and standards. Qualifications Include Graduation from an accredited physical therapy program (BSPT, MSPT, or DPT for 2003 or later graduates)Current state licensure in good standingPreferred one year of experience; new grads are welcomeCPR certification, obtained upon hire or during orientation, maintained current throughout employment Key Responsibilities Follow established treatment plans and modify goals as neededEvaluate and oversee care provided by PTAs, Rehab Aides, and studentsAccurately chart patient progress and utilize therapy software effectivelyCollaborate with patients, families, and support staff to meet patient needsMaintain professionalism, confidentiality, and adherence to policies and proceduresParticipate in community health initiatives when appropriateProvide excellent customer service and demonstrate dependable attendanceCommunicate effectively within an interdisciplinary teamPerform physical tasks such as lifting and moving patients, and maintain safety standards Skills And Qualities Include Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and email communicationGood body mechanics and judgment skillsAbility to make independent decisions when necessaryStrong interpersonal and professional conductAbility to read, write, speak, and understand English An Equal Opportunity Employer.
