At North Texas Therapy & Home Care, we provide therapeutic and comfortable environments for our patients, specializing in individualized care plans for those aged 0-21 years old. We are a therapist-owned and operated facility that offers personalized attention, mentoring, and career support to our clinicians.
Requirements
- Graduated from an accredited physical therapy program
- Licensed to practice physical therapy in Texas
- Required experience in pediatrics (new graduates must have at least 6 weeks of pediatric occupational therapy experience - this can include internships)
- Preferred home health experience
- Bilingual in Spanish
- Valid auto insurance and driver’s license
Responsibilities
- Provide skilled physical therapy services in the home or daytime facility, 2 or more times per week, as per physician orders
- Select and administer appropriate testing instruments to assess patients' physical and gross motor impairments
- Prepare and submit written diagnostic reports based on diagnostic data
- Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to set and evaluate goals for each patient, and advise, consult, and instruct the team on physical therapy modalities and interventions
- Modify and plan care to align with physical therapy intervention goals
- Design and deliver training, materials, and in-service programs for staff, caregivers, and patients
- May supervise Certified Physical Therapy Assistants
