Physical Therapist (PT)

Hamaspik of Kings County Inc. is seeking per diem NYS‑licensed Physical Therapists to provide therapeutic services in home settings for its Early Intervention program, which serves all five NYC boroughs with the highest concentration of clients in Brooklyn. The role emphasizes a team‑centered, multi‑disciplinary therapeutic approach.

Responsibilities

• Work one‑on‑one with children diagnosed with developmental delays.
• Create family‑centered treatment goals to facilitate carryover and maximize progress.
• Monitor and assess intervention effectiveness using a multi‑disciplinary approach.
• Maintain appropriate documentation of therapy sessions and caregiver communication.
• Educate families and caregivers about the therapeutic process.

Qualifications

• Previous experience with children who have disabilities, specifically in Early Intervention.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Desire to improve the quality of life of children with special needs.
• Bilingual ability (Yiddish and Spanish) is a plus.
• DOH fingerprinting clearance (IND123).
