About the role

Physical Therapist (PT) – School-Based | Merrimack, NH | Part-Time, 2 Days (16 Hours)/Week | 2026–27 School Year | Virtual Option Boothby Therapy Services is hiring a Physical Therapist (PT) for a school-based pediatric position in Merrimack, NH. This is a part-time, 2 day per week position. We will consider remote candidates with a NH PT license. This role is ideal for PTs interested in pediatric therapy, school-based practice, and a flexible schedule while making a meaningful impact in students' everyday school experience. We welcome new graduates, experienced PTs and retired clinicians interested in returning to practice.

Responsibilities

• Provide school-based physical therapy services to pediatric students (K–12)
• Support students in improving mobility, strength, balance, coordination, and access to their educational environment
• Deliver direct therapy services, including individual and group sessions
• Implement student treatment plans and IEP goals
• Collaborate with special education teams, OTs, SLPs, teachers, and other school professionals
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings as appropriate
• Support the use of adaptive equipment and assistive technology
• Maintain accurate documentation and progress notes
• Communicate student progress with supervising therapists and educational teams
• Conduct evaluations, develop plans of care, contribute to IEP development, make clinical recommendations, and provide supervision to PTAs as appropriate

Qualifications

• Active New Hampshire Physical Therapist license
• Degree in Physical Therapy (DPT or equivalent)
• Interest or experience in pediatrics, schools, or special education preferred
• Strong communication, collaboration, and teamwork skills
• New graduates are encouraged to apply
