Physical Therapist (PT)

About the Role

Provides physical therapy services to patients of all ages, developing and adjusting individualized care plans based on patient response and evidence. Acts as a professional role model and clinical resource for staff and students.

Responsibilities

• Performs patient transfers and demonstrates safe body mechanics to prevent injury.
• Designs and implements treatment plans aligned with patient goals, outcomes, and discharge strategies.
• Educates patients, families, caregivers, and healthcare team members using effective teaching methods.
• Conducts clinical evaluations, examinations, and objective testing, documenting findings per policy.
• Assesses impairments related to orthopedic and neurologic conditions, establishing plans based on functional deficits.
• Utilizes therapeutic modalities, applies supportive techniques like taping, and monitors therapy support personnel.
• Communicates progress and treatment recommendations with referring providers.

Requirements

• Licensed Physical Therapist (PT) with required certifications including BLS.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Therapy or equivalent.
• Strong patient assessment, documentation, and communication skills.
• Ability to perform therapeutic interventions and support team collaboration.
