Job Duties
- Providing excellent care for our patients
- Providing excellent customer service to our patients and family members
- Collaborate with facility staff to ensure excellent care for you patients
- Evaluating new patients, developing plans of care and setting measurable, functional goals
- Treating patients, answering their concerns and educating them on their injury, progress and probable outcomes
- Supervising Physical Therapist Assistants
- Re-evaluating patient progress, revising plans of care and resetting goals
- Completing timely and accurate documentation including; evaluations, re-evaluations, discharges and daily progress notes.
Qualifications
Required:
- Current licensure as a Physical Therapist in the state of [State]
- Passing score on the National Physical Therapy Examination (NPTE)
- Bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program
- At least 1 year of clinical experience in a skilled nursing facility (SNF) or related healthcare setting
Preferred:
- Experience working with patients with complex medical conditions
- Experience with manual therapy techniques
- Experience with gait training and balance exercises
