Physical Therapist (PT), Acute Rehabilitation

About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist (PT) to provide patient-centered care in an inpatient rehabilitation setting.

Responsibilities

• Assume responsibility for patient care, supervising assistants and therapy techs, and potentially orienting new staff or students.
• Assess patients' needs, develop and implement appropriate physical therapy interventions, and collaborate with the care team to maintain professional standards.
• Monitor treatment progress, evaluate outcomes, and recommend adjustments to physicians as needed.
• Conduct assessments and reassessments, perform quality improvement scoring, primarily serving adult and geriatric populations.
• Manage pain issues interfering with rehabilitation and make appropriate interventions.

Requirements

• Current state licensure as a Physical Therapist.
• Preferred inpatient rehab experience.
• Current BLS/CPR certification.
