About the role

Physical Therapist responsible for assessing, planning, and implementing rehabilitative programs to improve patient mobility, reduce pain, and prevent deformity.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with physicians to establish and evaluate treatment plans, goals, and discharge strategies.
• Implement and modify therapy treatments, selecting appropriate activities to meet patient needs.
• Educate patients and families, provide discharge instructions, and refer to community resources.
• Document evaluations, treatment sessions, and patient progress per departmental guidelines.
• Maintain ethical standards, confidentiality, punctuality, and professionalism.
• Communicate effectively with team members, participate in meetings, and support a positive environment.
• Engage in professional development, complete required certifications, and assist in training new staff.

Qualifications and Skills

• Graduate from an accredited physical therapy program with a Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctorate in Physical Therapy.
• Hold current licensure and certifications, including Basic Life Support (BLS).
• Demonstrate effective communication, customer service focus, teamwork, and basic computer skills.
