Pay

Hourly wage estimate: $43.23 – $64.85 per hour. The actual salary will be based on your specific skills, years of experience, and internal equity. New hires are typically placed below the midpoint of the range.

Schedule

  • PRN (as-needed) position in Inpatient Rehabilitation
  • Two weekend shifts per month plus one summer holiday and one winter holiday required

As a Physical Therapist, you will help patients regain strength, restore mobility, and rebuild confidence after illness, injury, or surgery. You will work closely with physicians and the care team to assess each patient’s needs and create personalized therapy plans centered on meaningful goals, active engagement, and exceptional outcomes. Responsibilities

  • Evaluate patient abilities and develop personalized treatment plans in collaboration with physicians and the care team
  • Deliver evidence-based interventions that restore movement, reduce pain, and enhance quality of life
  • Monitor progress, refine therapy plans, and ensure accurate, timely documentation of outcomes
  • Educate patients and families on exercise programs, adaptive techniques, and safe practices that promote independence
  • Collaborate across disciplines to ensure cohesive, patient-centered care and smooth transitions throughout recovery
  • Mentor therapy assistants or students while upholding HCA Healthcare’s values of excellence, compassion, and integrity

Requirements

  • Graduate of an American Physical Therapy Association–accredited school with a BS, MS, or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy
  • Active Physical Therapy license in the State of Colorado
  • Current certification in BLS for Healthcare Providers (per American Heart Association guidelines)
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support obtained within 30 days of employment start date
  • Successful completion of a student clinical rotation or work experience in at least one of the following settings: acute care hospital, long-term acute care facility, skilled nursing facility, and/or acute rehabilitation setting
