Role Overview: The physical therapist assesses, plans, and implements rehabilitative programs to improve mobility, reduce pain, and prevent deformity in patients with disease or injury. Services are delivered across various settings, emphasizing quality, cost-effectiveness, and regulatory compliance. Key Responsibilities Patient Assessment: Collaborate with physicians to establish and evaluate treatment plans, goals, and discharge strategies, incorporating patient and family input.Care Delivery: Implement treatment plans, select appropriate activities, educate patients and families, and provide discharge instructions and community referrals.Documentation: Record evaluations, treatment sessions, and educational efforts following departmental guidelines.Professional Conduct: Uphold ethical standards, ensure confidentiality, maintain punctuality, and communicate effectively within the team.Customer Service & Teamwork: Foster a positive environment, demonstrate respect, and apply service recovery principles to enhance patient and staff experience.Professional Development: Engage in ongoing education, complete required competencies, and participate in training and orientation activities. Qualifications & Skills Graduation from an accredited physical therapy program with a Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy.Necessary licensure and certifications, including Basic Life Support (BLS).Effective communication, customer service focus, teamwork, and basic computer skills.
