Physical Therapist, PRN

About the role

Assess, plan, and implement rehabilitative programs to improve patient mobility, reduce pain, and prevent deformity. Services are delivered across the continuum with a focus on quality, cost-efficiency, and patient satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Develops and revises treatment plans in collaboration with patients and families.
• Provides patient education, discharge instructions, and referrals to community resources.
• Establishes and evaluates treatment programs in partnership with physicians.
• Documents evaluations, treatment sessions, and discharge plans according to departmental protocols.
• Adheres to ethical practices, maintains confidentiality, and follows infection prevention protocols.
• Communicates effectively with team members, participates in meetings, and contributes to process improvements.
• Engages in professional development, maintains licensure, and mentors new staff.

Qualifications

• Minimum education: Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctorate in Physical Therapy.
• Licenses and certifications: Physical Therapist license and BLS certification.
