About the role
Assess, plan, and implement rehabilitative programs to improve patient mobility, reduce pain, and prevent deformity. Services are delivered across the continuum with a focus on quality, cost-efficiency, and patient satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Develops and revises treatment plans in collaboration with patients and families.
- Provides patient education, discharge instructions, and referrals to community resources.
- Establishes and evaluates treatment programs in partnership with physicians.
- Documents evaluations, treatment sessions, and discharge plans according to departmental protocols.
- Adheres to ethical practices, maintains confidentiality, and follows infection prevention protocols.
- Communicates effectively with team members, participates in meetings, and contributes to process improvements.
- Engages in professional development, maintains licensure, and mentors new staff.
Qualifications
- Minimum education: Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctorate in Physical Therapy.
- Licenses and certifications: Physical Therapist license and BLS certification.
