Physical Therapist – PRN

Responsibilities

• Perform physical therapy evaluations and re-evaluations in accordance with professional standards and payer requirements.
• Develop and implement treatment plans tailored to resident goals and functional abilities.
• Supervise and direct Physical Therapist Assistants (PTAs) in the implementation of treatment plans, as applicable.
• Complete timely, accurate documentation in the medical record and therapy system.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team on care planning, discharge recommendations, and equipment needs.
• Educate residents, families, and staff on therapy programs, safety, and use of assistive devices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in physical therapy from an accredited program.
• Current, unencumbered PT license in the state of Tennessee.
• Long-term Care/skilled nursing experience preferred.
• Strong clinical, communication, and time-management skills.
