PHYSICAL THERAPIST (PER DIEM DAYS) OUTPATIENT THERAPY

Responsibilities

The Summerlin Hospital focuses on providing comprehensive evaluations and goal-oriented treatments to enhance functional mobility and independence.

Requirements

• Nevada State Licensure as Registered Physical Therapist
• Current BLS certification
• Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Therapy from a university program satisfying APTA academic and intern requirements
• May work as a Graduate of Physical Therapy with recognition of the Board of Physical Therapy Examiners under onsite direct supervision (must be in the process of licensure)
• Knowledge and skills necessary to provide care/service appropriate to the age of the patients served on the assigned unit/department

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Therapy from a university program satisfying APTA academic and intern requirements for competence
• Experience: None required, but preferred
• Licenses/Certifications: Nevada State Licensure as Registered Physical Therapist; Current BLS certification

Skills

• Knowledge of physical therapy techniques and procedures
• Ability to assess patient needs and develop treatment plans
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficiency in medical terminology and patient care documentation
