About the role
Responsible for evaluating patient needs related to mobility, endurance, pain, and medical conditions, developing treatment plans, performing interventions, and assessing progress. Provides care within legal scope, collaborates with the healthcare team, and educates patients and families about care plans.
Responsibilities
- Conducts patient assessments
- Assists in creating therapy plans
- Delivers treatments to improve function and relieve pain
- Documents visits and outcomes
- Ensures patient care aligns with state guidelines
- Communicates progress to team members
Requirements
- Current state licensure in physical therapy
- Valid driver’s license and vehicle insurance
- CPR certification (preferred or can be obtained within 90 days)
