Physical Therapist - Per Diem

About the role

This role involves providing orthopedic rehabilitation therapy in patients' homes, primarily for post-surgical recovery such as hip and knee replacements.

Responsibilities

• Conduct evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Educate patients on mobility and safety techniques.
• Track progress through detailed documentation.
• Perform functional training and assist with transfers and ambulation.
• Ensure safe discharge readiness for patients.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and communicate with scheduling and management.
• Collect data, handle billing, and participate in ongoing professional development through seminars.

Qualifications

• A relevant degree (Bachelor’s or Master’s required, Doctorate preferred).
• Current licensure and CPR certification.
• Experience with EMR software.
