Physical Therapist - Pelvic Floor

About the role

Seeking an experienced full-time Physical Therapist for outpatient pediatric care, with a focus on pelvic floor rehabilitation or a strong interest in developing expertise in this specialty. The role involves providing comprehensive evaluation and treatment services, developing personalized treatment plans, educating patients and families, collaborating with healthcare teams, and delegating tasks appropriately. Documentation in accordance with departmental policies and consultations for physical therapy services are essential components.

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled physical therapy services including evaluation and treatment
• Establish treatment plans considering discharge needs and necessary equipment
• Educate and collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare providers
• Delegate tasks to assistants, techs, and students based on their skill levels
• Complete accurate documentation and provide assessments and consultations

Qualifications

Qualifications include a Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy and a valid Physical Therapist License. Master’s Degree in Physical Therapy is preferred. No prior experience is required, but a willingness to develop expertise in pelvic floor therapy is desirable.
