Physical Therapist (Part Time)

About the role

Assesses, plans, organizes, and participates in rehabilitative programs designed to improve functional mobility, relieve pain, and correct disabling conditions resulting from disease or injury. Provides age-appropriate education for clients and caregivers.

Responsibilities

• Performs modalities/therapeutic interventions in accordance with accepted standards of care and department policies and procedures.
• Provides effective instruction to the patient and family through standardized educational programs and/or individualized training.
• Initiates, develops, and maintains collaborative interactions with internal and external team members, patients, and family members to improve patient outcomes.
• Selects and performs the appropriate assessment procedures.
• Establishes and updates formal plan of care to address individual patient needs.

Requirements

• Physical Therapy License (Required)

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree (Required)
• Master's Degree (Preferred)
• Doctorate Degree in Physical Therapy (Preferred)
