About the role

Park Nicollet is seeking a Physical Therapist to join their rehabilitation team. The ideal candidate will provide direct patient care to adolescent, adult, and geriatric populations, with pediatric care required for some specialty positions. This role utilizes various physical therapy techniques to restore individuals to maximum functional ability, independence, participation, and freedom from pain. The position also involves performing related duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

  • Provides direct patient care to adolescent, adult, and geriatric populations, with pediatric care required for some specialty positions.
  • Uses a variety of physical therapy techniques to restore individuals to maximum functional ability, independence, participation, and freedom from pain.
  • Performs related duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Minimum Hour Requirements: 12 hours per month minimum — or 144 hours per year.

Qualifications

  • Education, Experience or Equivalent Combination: Doctorate, master’s, or bachelor’s degree in physical therapy.
  • Licensure/Registration/Certification: Licensed with the Minnesota Board of Physical Therapy.
  • Recommend experience as a Physical Therapist preferably in a medical setting.
  • Recommend membership in related professional organization.
  • Proficient with communication and data processing equipment.
  • Proficient in clinical equipment related to area of expertise.
  • Proficient in organization electronic medical record software.

Skills

  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
