About the role

Park Nicollet is seeking a Physical Therapist to join our rehabilitation team. The ideal candidate will provide direct patient care to adolescent, adult, and geriatric populations, with pediatric care required for some specialty positions. This role utilizes various physical therapy techniques to restore individuals to maximum functional ability, independence, participation, and freedom from pain.

Responsibilities

  • Provides direct patient care to adolescent, adult, and geriatric populations, with pediatric care required for some specialty positions.
  • Uses a variety of physical therapy techniques to restore individuals to maximum functional ability, independence, participation, and freedom from pain.
  • Performs related duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Education, Experience or Equivalent Combination: Doctorate, master’s, or bachelor’s degree in physical therapy.
  • Licensure/Registration/Certification: Licensed with the Minnesota Board of Physical Therapy.
  • Recommend experience as a Physical Therapist preferably in a medical setting.
  • Recommend membership in related professional organization.
  • Proficient with communication and data processing equipment.
  • Proficient in clinical equipment related to area of expertise.
  • Proficient in organization electronic medical record software.

Qualifications

  • Doctorate, master’s, or bachelor’s degree in physical therapy.
  • Licensed with the Minnesota Board of Physical Therapy.
  • Experience as a Physical Therapist in a medical setting preferred.
  • Membership in related professional organizations recommended.
  • Proficiency in communication and data processing equipment.
  • Proficiency in clinical equipment relevant to the area of expertise.
  • Proficiency in electronic medical record software.

Skills

  • Effective communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Knowledge of clinical equipment and electronic medical record systems.

Pay

Competitive salary based on experience and qualifications.

Schedule

Casual position - Variable, 6:45 am - 7:30 pm Monday-Friday, Weekend rotation.
