Physical Therapist - Outpatient Orthopedics

Position Summary

Provides direct patient care to adolescent, adult, and geriatric populations, with pediatric care required for some specialty positions. This position uses a variety of physical therapy techniques to restore individuals to maximum functional ability, independence, participation, and freedom from pain. Performs related duties as assigned.

Work Schedule

• Monday – Friday, 8-hour shifts
• Variable weekend requirement: 4–8 weekends per year
• Schedule subject to change based on departmental needs and patient care demands

Required Qualifications

• Doctorate, master’s, or bachelor’s degree in physical therapy
• Licensed with the Minnesota Board of Physical Therapy

Preferred Qualifications

• Recommend experience as a Physical Therapist preferably in a medical setting
• Recommend membership in related professional organization
• Proficient with communication and data processing equipment
• Proficient in clinical equipment related to area of expertise
• Proficient in organization electronic medical record software
