Physical Therapist - Outpatient Orthopedics

About the Role

This role involves providing comprehensive physical therapy services, including evaluation, treatment planning, implementation, and re-evaluation, across various settings.

Responsibilities

• Conduct evaluations, review patient history, perform assessments, and communicate findings to patients and families, involving them in goal setting.
• Implement treatment protocols based on evaluation results, collaborating with healthcare professionals as needed, and adjusting plans according to patient condition changes.
• Complete discharge planning, documentation, and follow-up care, ensuring accurate records of patient progress and activities.
• Manage time effectively, maintain a flexible and patient-centered approach, and meet productivity expectations.
• Engage in continuing education, serve as a clinical instructor, and mentor newer staff, students, and volunteers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• Licensure in Maryland, DC, and/or Virginia as required.
• American Heart Association BLS certification.
