Income Tax Manager

Our client is a publicly traded environmental services provider with a business footprint in the east coast. The ideal candidate is a tax professional who enjoys the beauty of Vermont, but the Tax Director is open to remote work for candidates residing within the company’s business footprint: VT, NH, ME, MA, Upstate NY, and Eastern CT.

Qualifications

• A minimum of 3 years relevant experience in Big-4 or regional accounting firm, or corporate tax department;
• A bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related discipline;
• CPA and/or Masters degree are a plus, not required;
• A background in tax compliance and accounting for income tax (ASC 740) and a broad understanding of US income taxation;
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and the ability to learn finance and tax related software systems are important;
• Detail-oriented and strong organizing skills, strong follow through skills, and an ability to multi-task and meet deadlines.
