Physical Therapist - Outpatient Orthopedics

Responsibilities

• Conduct evaluations, including reviewing history, assessments, and developing treatment plans.
• Communicate findings to patients and families.
• Implement and modify treatment protocols based on evaluation and patient response; consult with healthcare team as needed.
• Plan and execute discharge and follow-up care; accurately document all activities and progress.
• Manage time effectively, ensuring productivity and flexible access to patient care.
• Demonstrate professionalism and empathy.
• Engage in continuing education, serve as a clinical instructor, and mentor staff and students.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• Licensure in Maryland, DC, or Virginia as required; BLS certification.
• Strong communication, assessment, treatment implementation, documentation, and collaborative skills.
