About the Role

A licensed Physical Therapist will deliver comprehensive patient care in various settings, focusing on evaluations, treatment planning, and ongoing patient management.

Responsibilities

• Conduct patient evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Implement and adjust treatment protocols based on patient progress.
• Reassess patient conditions and modify plans as needed.
• Manage discharge planning and follow-up care.
• Explain findings and treatment plans to patients and families.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure coordinated care.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation.
• Recognize changes in patient conditions and adapt treatment approaches.
• Participate in program development and quality improvement initiatives.
• Mentor staff and students as needed.
• Pursue ongoing professional development and continuing education.

Requirements

• Degree in Physical Therapy (Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Doctoral).
• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program.
• Active licensure in relevant locations (MD, DC, VA).
• Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS).
