Physical Therapist | Outpatient- Neurologic-Vestibular (2026-0653)

About the role

The Physical Therapist position requires current Physical Therapy skills to evaluate, plan, implement and/or delegate a comprehensive plan of patient care in the orthopedic, pre/post-surgical, neurological, and health/wellness service areas.

Responsibilities

The following criteria reflect fundamental job duties and essential functions of this position. The Physical Therapist will perform evaluations, collect and analyze information, set specific goals, and provide patient/client education. They will also collaborate with the full care team, provide direct supervision to staff, and complete accurate and timely documentation.

• Perform evaluations that include patient/client functional status appropriate to the patient/client diagnosis, needs or condition.
• Collect, analyze, and integrate the information in the evaluations from all sources of the health care team.
• Set specific goals in the plan of care as determined at the time of the evaluation.
• Provide patient/client education that will assist them in meeting their goals and increase their functional skills and improve their quality of life and health.
• Collaborate with the full care team to provide appropriate patient care information and alter treatment plan as needed.
• Provide direct supervision to Physical Therapy Assistant, Exercise Specialist, and Rehab Aide staff for patient/client treatment and programs.

Requirements

• Current or in process Washington State PT License or Interim License
• Current BLS certification within 90 days of hire
• Professional appearance
• Effective interpersonal skills
• Demonstrates ability to prioritize multiple tasks, set priorities and work accurately and independently.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have at least two years of current clinical practice experience and demonstrate competency in health risk assessment measurements and assessment of values.

• At least two years of current clinical practice experience
• Specific knowledge and understanding of the lifestyle medicine field and the physical therapists' role in exercise prescription and active rehabilitation.

• Ability to communicate and to work effectively with the physical, emotional, socioeconomical, and developmental abilities and needs of all age groups, cultural and social backgrounds, and other diversity related contributors.
• Ability to recognize own limitations with regards to load handling and regularly seeks assistance when demand of transfer or lift exceeds individual physical abilities.
• Ability to lift, carry a minimum of 40 pounds to complete patient care responsibilities.

Work Environment

The Physical Therapist will work in an outpatient setting, with varying hours between 7:00am - 7:00pm Monday - Friday. The position requires standing, sitting, crouching, bending, and walking for extensive periods of time.
