About the role
The Physical Therapist will play a crucial role in providing high-quality, one-on-one care to patients within the Orthopedic Physicians Alaska (OPA) team. OPA is committed to delivering personalized care and fostering a dynamic, supportive work environment.
Responsibilities
- Provide exercise and manual-based therapy to patients in orthopedic and sports medicine settings.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement treatment plans.
- Evaluate patient progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly.
- Document patient interactions and treatment sessions accurately.
- Stay updated on the latest orthopedic and sports medicine research and techniques.
Requirements
- Graduate from an accredited school of Physical Therapy.
- Hold a current license to practice physical therapy in the state of Alaska.
- At least 2 years of experience in orthopedics and sports medicine, or recent graduate willing to undergo training and mentorship.
